How To Play Brawl Stars on Windows 7, 8, and 10

Brawl Starrs is a made-for-mobile game that is markedly similar to Clash of Clans and Clash Royale. It’s designed by a Finnish company called Supercell that released it in 2017. Initially, it didn’t get much traction, but over the years, it has garnered a solid fanbase.

What Brawl Stars really gets right is the multiplayer game aspect on a small screen like that of mobile phones. Typically, multiplayer games render much better on PC and gaming consoles, but Brawl Stars is an exception. This only raises the question of how good would it be if you could play it on PC? (More on that later)

Game Overview

Brawl Stars is a multiplayer, battle royale game with an objective-based shooter. It’s specifically designed for mobile in that it doesn’t have any shortcomings that typical multiplayer games like Fortnite and PUBG have had.

So basically, it comprises short battles that typically last for just minutes. It has a top-down view so everything is in your sight. You control your character with a virtual joystick, and another one is used for weapons.

Once you’ve earned special powers, there’s a dedicated joystick for those. All three controls are easy to use, even for a beginner. Both movements and aiming are pretty swift, and there are no hassles with touch controls.

The highlight of the game is Gem Grab, which is a three-on-three battalion. The goal is to claim 10 gems first, as they come out in the center. Even if the other team has gotten more gems, a shotgun blast can change the course of the battle, scattering their gems.

The 10-player variant is available for both solo and dual play. It’s obviously the most action-packed.

Other interesting modes of the game include Bounty mode and Heist. Bounty mode is basically a deathmatch, whereas Heist revolves around destroying enemy safes.

Graphics

The game is designed to be cartoony with vivid colors and cartoon-like characters. The sharp contrasting colors make the game very enticing, especially for young players.

There are over 22 heroes in the game to choose from. As you play, you’ll learn which heroes are better at which type of battle.

As for the quality of the graphics, they rival any of the popular high-definition battle royale games for mobile. With a 4K phone, you’ll be pretty pleased with the level of detail.

Age Rating

Brawl Stars is rated appropriate for everyone aged 10 and over. So tweens and teenagers can also play this game as it doesn’t have any gory violence.

Brawl Stars on PC

Yes, the makers have designed this multiplayer game and optimized it for mobile, but it doesn’t hurt to try it on PC. If you’re a seasoned gamer, you’d know the experience is totally different on a PC.

So how to enjoy this game on PC? Simple, download LD Player Android emulator for Windows.

That will allow you to play Brawl Stars on PC. Just download the APK file of the game, drag-drop it to the emulator screen, and voila, you’re ready to play.

If you download the game directly from the Google Play store within the emulator, you will need to sign in to your Google account. So it’s best to just download the APK file of the Android app.

It pretty much works the same even on a PC screen, but you can map keys to play with the keyboard, which can actually help improve the pace of the game. Some players have complained about it having slow action.

Wrap Up

Brawl Stars isn’t close to Clash of Clans, but it’s in a league of its own. It does have good gameplay and even better graphics to make it worth downloading and trying. And if you like it, you can even play it on the computer.
